Elle Italia December 2017

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Elle Italia features Yasmin and other models on the covers and inside of their jam-packed December issue. She was shot by Max Vadukul with fashion editor/stylist Benedetta Dell’Orto, hair by Leigh Keates @ Premier, makeup by Emma White Turle @ The Wall Group, stylist Silvia Pescia, casting director Giulia Massullo, and contributing editor/interviewer Valentina Mariani.

A fixture in Italian Elle since the mid-80s and cover model of the first issues of American and British Elle, Yasmin was a natural choice to be featured in this special issue. As she said in the accompanying interview, “Elle is a magazine that I am very connected to, especially for its ‘fashion democracy’; I think it’s brilliant to present fashion by showing just about everything to readers, from the height of haute couture to things that are more commercial and cheaper. Elle has turned fashion into a theme that affects all women, from every social background and race, and has found a way to make them feel united and part of a single world. They’ve done it in a way that is creative and never trivial, and I think this is beautiful.”
