CODE by Donald Edge

Yasmin has been revealed as the face of CODE by Donald Edge, the latest collection by the respected and notable British jeweller.  The design of the customisable pieces is based on Morse code, with diamonds and other precious stones set in “dots” and “dashes.”

Her favourite piece is the “Love Is a Moment In Time” necklace (above), about which she said “For somebody who doesn’t wear necklaces a lot, I really do love [it]. It’s so easy to wear, it’s so light; I nearly actually walked off with it quite happily. I nearly got away with it too! It doesn’t seem like it’s an occasion wear piece, even though it is very very twinkly, very sparkly, it’s something I feel like I could wear all the time.”

The edgy campaign that mixes shimmer with masculinity was photographed by Kate Martin, who previously shot Yasmin at home with her dogs for Country & Town House.

Winser London autumn/winter 2014

Yasmin is the face of the fabulous Winser London for a fourth subsequent season, showcasing the luxurious, elegant, and timeless fashion that the quality British brand has become known for.  The campaign was shot by photographer Roger Rich.

According to their press release:

Once again, Yasmin Le Bon captures the spirit of Winser London – she is stunning, stylish and real. Yasmin juggles a busy career, family and husband, like so many of us today, yet she always looks effortlessly elegant and is always fun to be with. Then we introduce to you, Milly and Agneta – both beautiful next generation models you will also see on the pages of fashion magazines.

Our favourite colours for the season? Nude and champagne are chic and timeless Autumn hues, particularly when knitted in Merino Wool or pure Cashmere or in our luxurious silks and satin-back crepes. Rich berry is flattering and on trend, taking the season’s Miracle Collection and knits to a new level of sophistication. Our graceful greys span from a warm grey marl through to deep charcoal. A pop of Winser blue is a must when looking for a coat for the season.

In trousers, the hot looks are either wide leg or a narrow tapered leg. Knitwear looks range from fine knit either in a rib or gossamer stitch through to the chunky ribs and our signature Milanos. In dresses and skirts, we are introducing new colours and new shapes – you’ll see in this preview our famous Miracle Dress in rich berry and dark grey. Our popular silk shirts continue and we introduce a limited edition Maxi Silk Shirt Dress, elegantly modelled by Yasmin Le Bon in vintage rose.

Speedo Sculpture

Exciting news as Yasmin has been named the face of the Speedo Sculpture swimwear collection for 2014.  At 49 years of age, Yasmin once again goes to show that age and beauty need not be mutually exclusive.

speedosculpture2014_3

She worked exclusively with Speedo to help them design their Swimsuit Confidence Handbook, in which she shares tips to help women of all ages feel more confident in their swimwear this summer.  With swimsuit season almost upon us, the guide has been launched to help tackle the anxieties many women experience and the fear of the walk from the changing room to the pool, or the towel to the sea.  Yasmin says, “After spending 33 years on the modelling circuit I have heard all of the tricks of the trade. The best advice I’ve received on looking your best in a swimsuit, is to wear it with confidence and a smile; it instantly changes your appearance.”

Yasmin’s first foray into swimwear modelling was for Marks & Spencer in 2001.

Yasmin and Amber Le Bon pose together to fight breast cancer

Mother and daughter pose in bras from Yamamay‘s Basic Collection to raise breast cancer awareness in support of LILT, the Italian league for the fight against cancer, in conjunction with Italy’s national week of cancer prevention from March 16-23.  Il-cancro-non-ha-eta_image_gallery

The campaign, shot by Giovanni Gastel (who worked with Yasmin as early as 1987 for Missoni), calls attention to the fact that breast cancer affects women of all ages.

Yasmin has been a longtime supporter of the prevention and research of breast cancer, a disease from which her mother suffered before her death.

Vakko autumn/winter 2013

Yasmin will appear in the upcoming autumn/winter Vakko campaign with fellow fashion icon Werner Schreyer, who was one of the biggest male models back in the 90s and is probably best known for having been the face of Guess, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace.

Turkish brand Vakko, one of the leading fashion houses in the country, will be celebrating its 80th anniversary next year.

The images were shot by photographer Pasquale Abbattista in the French and Swiss Alps near Cervinia, Italy, where temperatures hovered near -2° C.

Coincidentally, Yasmin appeared in advertisements for Vakko by Sal Guzay in their spring/summer 1990 campaign, but the names may be unrelated.

Yasmin and Amber Le Bon for Monsoon spring/summer 2013

It is Monsoon‘s 40th anniversary, and to mark this season’s special Heritage Collection, Yasmin Le Bon and daughter Amber have been chosen to embody the Monsoon woman of spring/summer 2013.MonsoonHeritage7 The images were shot last November by Anders Overgaard in Rajasthan, India, which served as the backdrop for the brand’s first collection in 1973.  Monsoon began out of Rajasthan through the sale of hand-lot printed clothes that were made in neighboring villages.  The Heritage Collection reflects these roots, as many of the pieces in the collection feature hand-lot printing, embroidery, batik, and natural cottons and silks from India and particularly from Rajasthan.MonsoonHeritage1

View behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot and learn more about how the Heritage Collection was produced in this video, narrated by Monsoon founder Peter Simon.  (It is a large file [159 mb], so if you’d rather not wait and aren’t particular about the quality, check it out at The Daily Mail’s You Magazine.  For that reason, please download it and do not watch it on the website!)
