Yasmin was selected as the muse of innovative fashion designer Mary Katrantzou to appear alongside her in this week’s issue of Stylist Arabia, which was guest edited by Katrantzou and features a look at her upcoming collections.
In the interview inside, Katrantzou speaks of admiring Yasmin since seeing ad campaigns of her as a teenager, praises her individual sense of style and the energy and passion she brings to whatever she does, and says that she feels “so honoured to share the cover with her.” Yasmin, meanwhile, fondly remembers the first Katrantzou show she ever saw, finds the concept of supermodel “absolutely hysterical, no one is saving any souls here,” says “I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t be” a feminist, and shares the name of her favorite song on Duran Duran’s latest album Paper Gods (hint: it’s a bonus track).
