For the first time in nearly 5 years, Yasmin is back at Winser London modelling their spring 2022 collection. The brand, known for its affordably-priced, figure-flattering, and luxurious womenswear, was founded by Kim Winser in 2013 with Yasmin as its face. Since then, it has grown with several notable collaborations and gained a reputation as an indispensable part of every woman’s wardrobe.

A longtime fan of the label, Yasmin says about the latest collection, “The Winser London Collection, it’s all about gorgeous comfortable classics in beautiful fabrics. I should know, I’ve been modelling for them from the beginning and live in their cashmere pieces. This new soft tailoring collection hits another level of effortless chic. Yasmin’s long-awaited capsule collection for Winser London has finally launched!  Much like with her collections for Wallis over 5 years ago, Yasmin fully involved herself in the design process and created very special pieces that she herself would want to have in her wardrobe.   Combined with Winser London’s reputation for luxurious and comfortable, timeless clothes with a high attention to detail and style, Yasmin’s collection is very personal, reflecting her own classic tastes and eclectic influences.  “It gives an opportunity for me to develop their style, which I believe in and love, and to take it a little bit further and add my own personality,” she said.

Among her inspirations for this collection are the city of London itself, a place where she has long lived and loved, and classic cars.  Several of her pieces reflect the mystique of early motor racing, when many women were among the racers, and the styling of old racing suits.  She was very much inspired by the adventurous spirit of these liberated women from the twenties and thirties, who dared to take risks in an era of strict gender norms.

Once again, Yasmin Le Bon captures the spirit of Winser London – she is stunning, stylish and real. Yasmin juggles a busy career, family and husband, like so many of us today, yet she always looks effortlessly elegant and is always fun to be with. Then we introduce to you, Milly and Agneta – both beautiful next generation models you will also see on the pages of fashion magazines.

Our favourite colours for the season? Nude and champagne are chic and timeless Autumn hues, particularly when knitted in Merino Wool or pure Cashmere or in our luxurious silks and satin-back crepes. Rich berry is flattering and on trend, taking the season’s Miracle Collection and knits to a new level of sophistication. Our graceful greys span from a warm grey marl through to deep charcoal. In trousers, the hot looks are either wide leg or a narrow tapered leg. Knitwear looks range from fine knit either in a rib or gossamer stitch through to the chunky ribs and our signature Milanos. Winser London has launched!

The much-awaited collection has finally launched at winserlondon.com, where you can purchase wardrobe staples made out of luxurious fabrics that can easily fit into any wardrobe.  Yasmin is the face of Winser London in a campaign shot by Roger Rich, and she was interviewed at the photo shoot by founder Kim Winser about her personal style and her favorite pieces from the collection.  Here are some tidbits, but you can read the entire interview on Winser London‘s website:

“The beauty of fashion and design is there to be enjoyed, it is not meant to be deep and meaningful, it is about the beauty of fashion design.  It’s meant to be a much more emotional thing – it’s all about emotion and enjoyment.”

“You’ve got to have fun and I am also happy to make mistakes, or what other people think are mistakes, I just love that!”

in response to what she loves about clothes: “I think the older you get the more you start looking at detail, you just can’t help it, it is about the cut and fit. The way something makes you feel starts to become more and more important, the quality of beautiful fabrics makes a real difference.”

“I love the sensuality of the cashmere and the way it feels on you and the way people touch you when you’re wearing cashmere, really beautiful quality cashmere like this of course is my real desire… Sounds like we’re getting risqué here but it is true people want to cuddle you more and they want to touch you when your clothes feel amazing next to your skin.”

when asked about her favorite picture from the shoot: “The last picture was really beautiful and it’s quite hard to get a shot like that out of me at my age. I was delighted to be naked with your cashmere, even on concrete floor! I like some of the more playful ones too with the silk shirt and pants and your pearls, and I loved the shoot but its nothing to do with me, it’s all to do with the team and the garments. Roger is a special photographer too.”

Winser London

Yasmin is the face of the debut collection for Winser London, a new womenswear label fronted by Kim Winser.  The former CEO of Aquascutum, Pringle, and Agent Provocateur and recipient of an OBE for services to the fashion industry, Winser has launched her own brand full of seasonless, luxurious separates that will be the perfect complement to any wardrobe.

Yasmin said about the collection, “It has been really lovely to be photographed in product I would genuinely want to wear, I was delighted to be naked with your cashmere even on concrete floor!”

Winser London will launch on February 15th to coincide with London Fashion Week, but potential customers can register now at winserlondon.com to receive updates.  Pieces from the ecommerce venture will be available for purchase strictly through online merchants.
